Sunshine, anyone?

My luck’s been on a roller-coaster ride of sorts for about a month now. Things have been falling in and out of place in the strangest way ever. I am not saying this to make excuses for being away from the blog for over a month. But… here’s one example of what happened – my laptop crashed, irreparably, when I was working half-way across the globe some 8000 miles away from anyone who could possibly fix it. Bad luck? Well, I ended up taking some “forced” time-off in Bangkok because this happened and spent quality time with my sis in the meantime. Awesome luck?? I guess you could say things happen for a reason, but the reason is often not evident right away. But that is wayyy too philosophical an explanation for me to buy. So I’ll settle for mere coincidence.

On the topic of coincidences, sunshine awaited me in CO when we got back. Literally… and metaphorically! Sanjana who blogs at FeedingTheSonis sent extra warmth my way with a Sunshine blog award. Now if that’s not the best way to step into Spring, what is? 🙂 Thank you Sanjana! Oh, do remember to check out Sanjana’s blog for some awesome everyday food recipes!

PS: I picked this picture for the award cause well, there were seemingly so many choices out there, and it’s pink. Beat that!

Here’s how the award works:

Display the award on your blog * Show your gratitude and link back to the person who nominates you with the award * Nominate 10 of your favorite deserving “bloggers who positively and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere” * Link the nominees in your post and let them know they have been awarded * Write 10 interesting things about yourself.

Technically, I’d have to – ahem – say interesting things about myself to fully participate in the award. But I guess I’ve run out of interesting things since December, so will move on to the next part. Here are some blogs from my reader list who’ve brought sunny smiles to my face on more than one occasion. Congratulations!!

Let the sun shine on! 🙂
